Safety Awards
Century Contractors, Inc. was honored to receive a National Safety Council Perfect Record Award on January 27, 2009. This honor recognizes Century for operating 769,283 employee hours between August 14, 2007 and January 27, 2009 without a lost time injury.
While our safety record has garnered attention throughout our history, in 1998 it was noted as the best among all American contractors. The National Safety Council’s “Industry Leader” award was bestowed on Century Contractors for leading the nation in:
- Lowest experience modification rate
- Lowest incident rate
- No lost time injuries for that year
Today, we continue to strive for an injury-free environment and to setting an example worthy of this honor.
